The SME of the year award is among the most prestigious in the business world.
It is a recognition of a company’s success and growth, as well as its contribution to the country’s economy as employment and wealth creators.
In Barcelona province, it is granted annually by the Spanish Chamber of Commerce and Banco Santander (One of the most prestigious banks in Spain) in collaboration with La Vanguardia journal and the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
The Award Ceremony was held in the headquarters of the Banco Santander, where Fernando Bouffard received the prize by the hand of Sonia Colomar, regional director of Banco Santander in Catalonia.
The jury particularly appreciated the growing number of exports from the laboratory, its commitment to innovation, and the ongoing education provided to its clients and distributors.
